Welcome To Rock And Roll Films Hello aspiring filmmakers, and welcome to Rock And Roll Films' official blog. Here I hope to outline my vision for this company. My friend Kiran, who I met at the Downtown Community Television Center (DCTV) Summer Media Intensive program, is creating something called the Youth Film Alliance (YFA) with her friends. The Alliance, once it gets off the ground, will provide fantastic resources for young directors. When Kiran explained the idea to me, I was amazed and excited. The opportunities for teenagers to learn how to make films are limited, but what is stopping us from creating our own opportunities? It's a simple idea, but it's brilliant. And at eleven last night, the brilliance of it fully hit me. So I'm setting out to craft my own, similar company, with some tweaks.
